Where my numbers at???? HELP!

I've got this problem with my pc version of nba live 2004. Ever since i installed it, the jerseys in the game dont feature the usual numbers on it!! (To emphasize how horrible this is, imagine the Twolves jersey without any playernumbers on it!!)
Does anybody know how i can solve this without having to start mess around with editors and stuffl ike that?? e.g. by changing an option in the menu (wich i cant find...) or something liket that.
