Roster ratings help?

Thu Apr 08, 2004 12:33 pm

I plan on starting a WNBA roster from scratch. I really don't have much time to even do the roster; so testing rating's is out of the question. I know Andrew and others who have made this year’s roster should have the answer to these? The roster is basically a numbers game, with a few other mixes of ratings to get what you need out of a player.

I am looking for numerical number ranges (1-100) for certain attributes.
Like,
What number will players start to dunk at?
What number will pro-hop work and not work at?
What speed rating is considered for a fast player, and what for a slow player?
Good passer rating?
Steal rating range................ the great stealers are set at what?
What number does it take for a player to get a 3 point icon? And also the other three icons’, what number is needed.
Defense and blocking range? What should i set for a player who can jump well to block shots, but can't dunk????

I need to know just about everything to do with rating ranges, and a few other tips on creating players. :)

Anyone want to help................ feel free to E-mail me.

I think anything above 30 will allow dunking - a rating of about 35 should assign the "rarely dunks" dunk package by default.

I believe a dribbling rating of at least 60 should result in pro-hops.

A speedy player could be a least 80 for speed and quickness. Really quick players can have ratings in the early 90s or higher.

Good passing...for most good passers, a rating in the mid 60s might be appropriate. As with speedy players, excellent ballhandlers can have ratings in the 90s.

A player who is great at stealing the ball should have at least 75 as their Stealing rating.

I believe that 75 is also the rating for the player icons.

A jump rating of 40-55 might suffice. As long as they have a low dunking rating and the appropriate DUNKPACK, you could probably set it higher if you want.

Hope this helps. :)
