salary problem?

I'm having a really anoying salary problem in my dynasty mode... I'm using NLSC rosters(not the latest...) with real salaries. The problem is when some team doesn't re-sign good player in the offseason his "points required" to sign him remain more than minimum... I know that it's stupid to sign all-star player for minimum, but there's no team that can afford such players so they remain free agents the whole season(s)... I was trying to edit ther "points required" walui in players.dbf but there is no such thing, "points req." is similar to "scratch 1" walue, but there is no change in poits req. when i change scrath walue... is there any way to solve this problem?

not quite it only changes players "previous points" value, "points required" remain the same...

I stand corrected. I don't know what else to suggest at the moment.

I have to correct myyself now I read your reply quickly so i've switched "salary" with "scratch1" in my mind the thing about "salary" value is that it doesn't match the "points req." value (only with free agents), if i change it to 30,000 it doesn't change "points req." value...

Hmmm...I really don't know what else to suggest. I don't think there's any other DBF value you can change to remedy the situation.
