Question about adding a team

I created a new team ('88 Lakers) and replaced the western all stars with them. but when i play the game it still calls them the western all stars. i copied over all the info in the teams dbf, what am i missing?

can i get marv to call them the LA Lakers instead of the western all stars?

The problem is that ur using the western all stars team number ( i believe 30 or 31)...you cant get them to be called teh lakers unless u overwrite the normal lakers (i believe at least). what i suggest is to leave the western allstars and just make them as a totaly new team and give them a team number that isnt already used. then they'll just be called the home/away team...

how do i add a line at the bottom of the dbf?

or do i just overwrite one of the teams that's already included? that's what i've been doing.

what program are u using to edit? if your using dbcommander just select the line you want to copy, then go to edit, copy record, then go to the bottom line, press the down arrow key then go to edit, paste record...
