My players getting beat down the court

This happens sometimes when I miss a shot on offense. My guards will take a few steps forward toward the shot (making a lame attempt at an offensive rebound when they have no chance to grab the ball) and the CPUs guards will just take off and beat me down the court for an easy 2.

Try turning "crash boards" to off, instead of Auto. This way, your guards will run back on D.

I had the same problem but then I read the manual!!
Now my defense is shining, and I can actually stop them without sending them to the charity stripe
