problem with ea sports official patch...

so...i just download via ftp the official patch from ea sports(both...en-uk and en-us) but when i install them into the game appears one label saying ..."old file not found.however,a file of the same name was found.no update since file contents do not match"!!!what to do?i dont have the original game but i heard that some other guys with copy game could installed it as well!!!
