Allan Houston's ratings...wtf?

Mon Feb 23, 2004 5:02 am

I just noticed some discrepancies...if you will

Allan Houston defensive awareness rating?

75

Manu Ginobili's? 68

Houston's SPEED rating? 84

He's faster than Manu (72), and even two of the fastest guys in the league in Christie and Kittles (75 speed rating for both)

He's also quicker than all of these players (72)

and he can jump just as high as all of them (65)...compared to christie who has a 53 rating and is one of the best leapers in the league (and allan houston can't really jump as high as manu...come on now)

Was this done simply to increase his overall rating? Cause I play with the knicks and houston's beating everyone down the court on fast breaks lol...

I am personally going to change the ratings for my own rosters...I just wanted to point this out and maybe try and get a reason for it

I can't remember if I've actually touched Houston's ratings...but I guess I should. Thanks. (Y)

Don't kill Houston too much. His athleticism is under-appreciated! The problem he has is a lack of aggression. I agree, though, that Kittles' speed rating is WAY too low, and the comments on Ginobli are spot-on (I hate the guy... he's annoyingly good!).
