Game crashes after the intro

When the intro is over it takes only a few seconds in main menu until the game crahes. First the display gets distorted and then I have to restart. I have 512 MB RAM and a new Geforce FX 5200 which should have no problems with the game.

what is your computer spec?? coz i have the same problem.

I have the same specs execept the cpu: amd xp 2400. Any solution for this prob?

yeh well wat i did was i got a new cooling fan becoz the one that came with amd is not really doing the job. my system gets pretty hot. coz i can actually play till the 1st quarter before it crash. the image gets distorted first then finally hangs. the only thing i did was get a new bigger cooling fan and that seems to fix it.
