How to trade draft picks?

How to trade draft picks? I tried, but CPU wont to trade with me...

the cpu will tend not to trade their draft picks if they're one of the worst teams unless u send them someone really good. i've never actually traded picks but i have been successful trading players for picks with pretty bad teams.

Anytime during Jan. to the trade deadline, locate a bad team with a open roster spot. Find that team's needs by checking the interest bar. Sign a free agent w/ 59 rating who plays the position that the other team needs and propose the trade. It works for me about 50% of the time. Sometimes I throw in my own pick to make the deal sweeter.

Does that work for you much? I am having so much trouble trying to do some good recruiting!
how many times have you done this?

I have done that more than 20 times. In one season, I had 4 of the 13 lottery picks. I had to forfeit 2 of my later rounds picks cuz I am out of roster spots. The key is the other team must have a open roster slot. However this does not work for high draft picks, I usually had to give up a player rated 65-75 or throw in a lower first round pick for a top 5 pick.
