Unbelieveable 3 pointers

I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but sometimes, when there are 4 or 5 seconds left in the posess. clock, no matter who has the ball in the CPU team, he shoots and scores. I've received 3 pointers from Mutombo, Shaq and Dale Davis at the buzzer.

Does 2004 use the old "clutch" rating? That would increase ratings in clutch situations, which used to lead to this sort of thing in the past, IIRC.

Anyhow, just last night I using the Knicks against a guy using the Magic. I trapped TMac a few steps outside of the 3-point arc with time winding down. The whole wiggling animation that happens when a trap is in place happens, but somehow the guy presses the shoot button and TMac tosses up the craziest shot... nothin' but net. Insane! My better half came home shortly after which necessitated leaving the screen for a minute and I came back to a "network" error. It's too bad because we had an awesome game going. At that point I wisely chose to quit rather than play vs. the CPU, and leave the computer for better things. Anyway, I will remember that game for the insane three... made by a human opponent!

hm...... i had this guy on the jazz, i think it was greg O, with 2 secs left, he pulled down a board, and just heaved it, swish! it went in, and tied it. we won in OT though
another time i had shaq throw a half courter with 3 secs, went in, but the still lost by one.

I was playin a first year dynasty, and in the first round of the playoffs, fuggin PJ BROWN hit a three at the buzzer when his team was down two, and it was in game 3 of a 3 game series...damn i was heated!!!!!!!

Goes to show how the computer cheats to win and catch up. I sometimes get so heated I switch teams and call 3 timeouts for the CPU. I then make the 3 technical free throws for my original team and switch back.

So there, freakin' cheaters.

LOL, i hit 1 with Elton Brand he has a 3pt rating of 1.

I don't think it's related with cheating because Jerome James hit a 3 pointer in the first minute of the game
