Last night for fun I created myself in the game. I added an inch to my height (with my kicks on I am 6'1" dang it), made myself a decent shooter (bad from beyond the arc, as is true in RL), weak jumper but good rebounder, average or below average at many other things (e.g. dribble), but I gave myself a 99 for offensive awarness. 
So that's a little exaggerated, but I have good peripheral vision and I am a student of the game, so why not, for fun?
So, I'm dropped in the FA pool (as PG... what a joke, I have no handle). I start a season to play as the Nets. Lost the first game on the road to Toronto (arrgh, MoPete killed me with 3's in the 4th). Checked "NBA News" on the "GM's Desk" and what do I see: I've been signed by the Sonics! So I figure I'll check if I got a minute or two in the game -- I'm starting for them, and scored 9 points in the first game, wo0t!
I never heard of a 29 year old rookie, but there I am. I forgot to check what my overall rating turned out to be, but hey, who cares? I'm makin' the big bucks now. Anyone else create himself (herself?) and get signed?
