Has everyone else had the problem with PG's not running an offense and simply jacking up shots??/ Every PG from Kenny Anderson to Howard Eisly has shot at least 20 shots a game.....in real life they average like 6-7 a game.
I brought the primacy rating down all the way to 10 on PG that shouldn't be shooting and they still jack up threes out of the blue.....anything we can do about this or is this just kinda the way things is?
I have tried double teaming to for a pass and that helps but usually they take it to the hole before I get a chance.....
Any tips appreciated!

I agree. They seem to always lead the CPU in scoring. I even change the CPU's playbook and their main offensive staple, but they still go into 2 defenders pro-hopping and lay it in.

this is annoying as hell.

i noticed this when tony parker lit me up for about 50 points but then i got used to playing better defense and they didn't take as many shots.

Try doubleteam+high def pressure over CPU PG.

it doesn't always happen but it happens too much. They need to fix that....tyron lue messes me up everytime.

i've never experienced this, unless it was a known offensive pg..

It's all defensive. If you double off the point early in the game , he gets hot, and then will hit many shots. Also turn the adjusted shot % for the CPU down... CPU point guards get alot of points that way, driving to the hole and adjusting their shot.

This is a problem!one of the point guards who do that is Mike James,he scored 41 on my friend!

I don't have this problem!

it all depends on the defense. the AI always reacts to how you play him. if you let him, the player wil light you up really.
pressure and double teaming helps. but try sticking to him, try moving into the direction he's goonna go before he gets there.

The thing is that I like to pressure the opposing guards. I dont and they'll sink a 3. I do, they'll break my ankles (or my pg's) and then pro-hop through 2 defenders and lay it up over say Big Z. Realistic? How many point guards bring the ball down and take it to the rack when it's a 2-4? How many pro-hop and make a lay-in everytime?

I don't have this problem either.
Let the cpu gaurd the opposing PG, or gaurd him, but when the screen comes switch to the other player.

Its not that they light me up....Eisley went 4 for 20 against me 9 points. its the fact that all the PG take shots instead of setting up the offense. I could understand Starbury or Baron but not Tyronne Lue and Mike James.
I think I am going to try playing on starter and see if Pg are less aggressive and then adjust sliders accordingly.

I haven't really experienced this problem either. Most of the time, the right player scores most of my opponent's points, unless he's in foul trouble or injured (and thus not playing as many minutes as he normally would).

before i play a game, i can see so many 'alley-oop' pass from PG

!!this is not realistic, how can i solve this problem? i also see PG can easy to score over 20pts...

I never experience this one either.
usually its the SG, SF and C are the one scoring. PG took only <10 shots a game.

My very first game Billups scored 46 on me. (12 min quarters)
Since then, no point guard other than Jason Kidd dominated my PG, Rafer Alston.
You just have to run back on defense. Go in front of the PG to prevent fast breaks.

yea like i'd expect this in cleveland or sumthin but not on too many other teams....when on the break try to stop the ball then immediately stop the cutter by that time ur other players will get back to help out on the guy with the ball
