Controller Issue

Question for those of you that use the Logitech Dual Action. Have you figured out how to use the d-pad to move the player yet? I can't seem to assign the d-pad to anything.

Does your gamepad have analog sticks?

I use a ps2 controller and the game forces me to use the analog sticks for movement and the D-Pad for quick plays.
(I can't set the D-Pad for player movement)

Yes, my pad has analog sticks...But I want to use the d-pad to move directionally. Imgaine that. Tell me that I can change this somewhere...

Have you tried fiddling around with the configure controller?
I tried setting the d-pad as the player movement but it just won't let me.

The ONLY way I can think of to use the d-pad for player movement is to disable your analog sticks....

Ok! I would do that...if I knew how.

haha you want to use the d-pad THAT bad ??

Just get use to the analog sticks.... I did

Why wouldn't I want to use my d-pad? I've been using a d-pad for longer than I care to admit. I don't see any point in using a gay little stick, unless I want to play some Intellivision.

Doesn'T Live 04 have the same screen as 03 - a second screen on the controller options where you can assign movement axis and quickplay stuff? Look for this, if it is there you might be able to use the D-Pad to move.

If you ask me though - I would switch to the stick if I were you as you have more possibilities that way.

Using the d-pad sucks for this game.
Reason: it's not analog.
You can't control the speed/degree at which your character moves w/o an analog stick. It's all or nothing with the digital pad.
Well, and of course there's that whole free-style thing with the analog sticks too ;)
