getting hacked and bumped in the air too much!

Postby Devin112 on Tue Oct 21, 2003 8:01 am

anyone else?

maybe when i jumpstop i should just take a 2 foot jumper versus trying to dunk or layup?

it's really pissing me off, i work hard on getting to the rim and then they bump me in the air and make me miss my shot. this happed to me 5 times in a row, got to pissed off i turned off the game.

sliders

turn up the foul sliders. I get fouled a lot when i drive the lane. Either that or i commit an offensive foul. There are some no calls, but for the most part, i'm pretty happy with the fouls vs no fouls ratio i get when driving a busy lane.
Also, push the dunk/layup button, but tap it again in the air. depending on who you're controlling, sometimes you can do some crazy acrobatic shots and sometimes even avoid the contact.
Darius Miles made the most insane move on me the other day. Double-pump reverse layup. I had 2 guys hackin the crap out of him and he still managed to make the shot and get the foul. I just sat there with my jaw on the floor.

Also you can turn down in air-collision slider. You probably should use the 2 ft J, Unless the lane is clear.
