I have here, in my hands, a nice fresh copy of NBA Live 2004 for Playstation 2! Man I am so so happy.

If you have any questions, i'll be happy to answer them.

Hows the graphics? especially close up. Is it like the old screenshots of Yao and Tmac or the really detailed Iverson one? Or is it worse? Thanks in advance.

Well, IMO the models are better than last year's Live, but they're not quite near those early pics of Yao and Tmac, but so far, this game is looking great.

And I can't post any screenshots, if you can tell me how I will

Knoxville, TN

BTW, the player intros don't get out of line either...They just introduced Orlando and the announcer says..."Starting at Guard, Tyronn Lue" etc. etc., he actually says their position

Also on the gameplay end, this game is TOUGH, even on Starter it's tough to hit a shot. Game is looking (Y)

The x box graphics are tight! Way more polished than last year--very crisp.

Those Yao vs Tmac screenshots where from the PC version of the game.. not the PS2 version.

Actually, those Yao vs. T-Mac screens are just promotional, high-res pics and have nothing really to do with the game. Just to show off some cool renditions they have made. The real graphics will not be that crisp and clear.

I just finished a full game, 12 minute quarters, Starter difficulty, sliders were adjusted a little, had to tone em down a bit, CPU was ferocious on D.

Orlando 118(me)
New York 106

I shot .522 from fg

New York shot .443 from fg

It was very realistic, New York was owning me in the first half, but I cam back with a vengeance in the 2nd half :D

Overall, the gameplay is great IMO, it's very hard to drive the lane, even with freestyle. I struggled shooting early, then I started pumping it down to Howard and Gooden in the post. Another interesting thing was, I only saw about 5 or 6 dunks in the whole game, and all were 1 handed, nothing crazy, mostly power dunks from the post players, and 1 or 2 lane drives by TMac.

I don't get it for a couple days. I live in Canada, granted, but I could swim to the US if I really wanted to, that's how close I live.

damn... hey were you holding back any on the "O" ?
did you find yourself trying to play to a scoreline at any time in the ball game ? I mean like were you thinking "sh*t that's 75 pts at half time, I better slow this game down *wait for shot clock to go down to like 4 before taking the shot*"?

or were you gunning for points from the get-go?

No, not really, I had around 48 points at the half, and the CPU had 55.
