Cutscene Problem

Postby Ruff Ryder on Mon Oct 06, 2003 9:15 am

Is anyone worried about the dynasty cutscenes? Like maybe you trade kobe for Glen Rice and your team gives glen rice a warm welcome, when instead they should be furious. I hope that doesnt happen.

I'm just saying. In last years Live it was easy to trade bench players for All Stars.

Not really man, only if you went scrub for a scrub where you give a 70 for a 55 or so. Players on a team should be optimistic about every trade because they have to trust there GM. If my GM traded Kobe for Glen Rice then I would be like what the heck? Maybe Glen Rice has some sort of secret weaopn. LOL.

You can't give up a bencher and get an all star but you can do it the other way around, I don't know why you would though.

I don't think it's a problem to have a standard cutscene for trades. Even if players are unhappy about a trade, they're not going to making a scene when they meet up with their new teammate.

Look for people bitching about tarding being easy NHL 2004 is a perfect example of Trading being impossible. EA's computer offered traded are ALWAYS massively in there favor. The wanna trade you 66, 68, and a 76 rated player for 80, 77, and 70 rated guys. What type of crap. And it is ALWAYS like this. You can't trade sh!t. The only good trade you can make is trading an old guy with a higher rating for a younger guy with a slightly lower rating but loads of potential. That is your best bet. So for people bitching about trades, I hope EA keeps the system like it has been in the past so you can trade 91 players for 93 players.

I know some people trade a 89 for a 90, then that 90 for a 91 then that 91 for a 92 and so on, but damn I dont so dont penalize me. And if people DO do that than let them play the game the way they want.

What I do in Live is sign a bunch of 70-75 rated players. Then I trade three of them for a really good player with a 90+ rating and for two other sorry ass players (below 70), and the team accepts. So I just waive those two players and it's all good.
