Great preview giving more info about how injuries are handled in the game...and I like the tip deflection too...and the dunks are toned down from Live 2003 as well.

Right after gary payton turns over the ball do u see the thread the needle bullet pass by Jaric to the streaking teamate? that looked nice. The injury on shaq was very well done too including the commentary that went with it. The guy using the lakers was shameful though.

WOW, B --you are on time with these videos man!

I love the injury, but we still can't pick who shoots the free throw. It's all good. The first alleyop to Richardson was good but he had his back turned and the ball just fell into his hands--but it's all good too. The animation and movement in this game are the best I've seen in a basketball game thus far. I saw the Schick and McDonalds banners--nice touch. Commentary was solid. I don't know about you guys but when i watch these videos, the first thing I think about is: what will I patch first? The PC game will be beautiful and if we can add ingame ditties--AHHHH SHHHHHeit..it'll be all she wrote.

Injury....

Postby deleteduser on Thu Oct 02, 2003 5:26 pm

Don't get me wrong i love the fact theres gonna be some realistic injurys in live this year but at the same time i hope they don't go overboard with the injury idea and have a guy get injured every single game! Man that would start to get annoying and suck.

Isn't there a slider for injury frequency?

Personally, my favourite slider. Apart from the game speed. And the seperate foul sliders and the free-throw difficulty, and the boundary force field and the fatigue effect and dammit, they're all so good!!!!!!! :D

Looks like Run and Gun and high FG % again.... This is the first video I saw that made me a little disappointed. The Clips got down the court and scored before the Lakers even got down the court way too much.

Thankfully we have sliders this year to fix all of this.... The guy playing kind of sucked, but hopefully the game will be challenging this year (without cheating).

I love the new injury frequency since this will make some players learn how to play without their star players. Live gotta hurry up and hit the shelves i dont know if i can wait any longer

I don't know if you saw but the cross of the free throw appears on the board. :)

We can see after shaq's foul and injured.

that looked tight as hell, only the testers dont know anything about basketballgames obviously after seeing them play  .

I still see to many fast breaks but it may also be because of the weak defense that the IGN showed. Luv the info about the Shaq injury, great....just a lil touch ups and this game will own ESPN 2K4 if they dont already

With the gameplay settings up there, what does boundary force field mean?

I think he either controlled Clippers and played at a low level, or controlled Lakers and plain sucked.
