Sliders look good so far, but the shorts are too long. But we'll see.

i'm assuming that it's the thing live2003 had... slowing down a player when he reaches the court boundries, so while you control the player, you don't accidentally step out of bounds, it just slows your guy up a bit.

I think its a sort of force field that helps the player to not step out of bounds as easily obviously it can be turned off or adjusted to varying strengths. I like this idea because in live 03 u couldnt run anywhere near the sidelines...without being called out of bounds...your feet didnt even need to be outside the line, only the indicator circle under your player....that was crap. That also made it hard to control a player and run to the corner to hit a corner three, because the space was so limited you would more often than not go out of bounds when u caught the ball in the corner.

Can you say total simulation! There seems to be more sliders too. Man--i can't wait! Hopefully we can patch those banners as well hanging from the roof ala live 2000PC

Anybody else like the little tip--hmmm maybe we should already slow the gamespeed before we play. it's like a warning

I like how it seems the background tint changes depending on the shown players team colours a la Madden. See this screen.

B. Diddy looks fat in this pic.

And Walker isn't fat enough in this pic.

This lay-up/dunk from Tayshaun looks really good.

The ACC in Toronto looks mighty fine. So fine that if I saw a girl that fine I'd say "Daamn...Daaaamn...Daaaaaaaamn"

EA seems to have gotten lazy. They want us to do everything ourselves.

Seriously though, those sliders are the best news yet. I'm now 100% completely and officially sold. Cant wait for whenever the hell it is.

My actual EB store is saying October 31 for PC. That's what i'm aiming for right now. I remember it being a few weeks later than that last year though. November 12 sticks out in my memory for some reason.

Gotta love that Injury frequency slider. Still doesnt mean that flagrant fouls wont always be attached though....

Ah well, at least they're in there.

They had it last year too. You just had to click playcall without holding it down to call another play.

sweet! the game speed slider means we can now adjust it depending on the teams we play!! meaning we can have a different game speed for every game! so we can get different scores all the time, like real life!

True, but it's a global slider and by watching the new video it seems that the teams have there tendencies already, the lakers were more half court and the Clips were running everytime. It might be as simple as a dbf adjustment if you want a running team or a half court team.

I like how you can pick your favorite team (ala Madden 2004) and it shows their logo and players on the menu.

I also like the sliders because some people don't like Live because of the speed but now we can sorta slow it down, I also like the look of the arenas and the diffrent free throw camera angle. :D

The only game that has had the speed issue is Live 2003... Live 2001 was optimised for realistic score with 12 minute quarts. The rest a little bit more faster. Live 2003 was ridiculous with the ease of flying past the defenders...

Live 2003, the only one with real speed issues... I like a more fast paced game then Live 2001. Who has the time to play those 12 minute quarter games without the possiblity of saving the game ingame.

I certainly don't...

I think they sacrificed the gameplay for the sake of realistic numbers in 2001.

Open shots will only fall 30% of time and uncontested inside shots will be missed and it just looked rediculous.
