Agree~~!! (Y)

IMO, I think the only one can keep their own number is the one with highest rating.

then it'll have an alert for suggesting the new arrangement of jersey number for the rest of the guy(s).

by the way, playing franchise in Live 2003, changing a player's jersey number will drop his overall rating imediately. Is it true ??

i'd tried several times but the rating still drops (a lot). :?

He's not the only one on this fourm who acts like that Vins and I think you guys know who I'm talking about. But back to the topic, I had no idea that changing a player's jersey affects his ratings. Can anyone else confirm this?

i mean i have experienced this issue in NBA live 2003..

i tried when i was magic. I have armstrong in the roster and signed mookie as a reserved point guard.
after i changed mookie's number, i found that his overall rating dropped from 68 - 64 (not quite remember the actual value)

and he still kept that dropped rating after i've finish another game..

so finally....
i quit it without save

but i am not sure does anybody else have this experience or not

Yeah, it happens here too... Also happens when you try to edit a player's accessories...

Seems I've had to warn you three times in one day. Behave yourself, act with a little maturity, cut out the flaming.

Hey Robit, chill man, (N)

yea, they drop, but thts only if u use the roster patches, since the ratings have been changed outside of the game, and the overall rating has not been changed. once u edit anything abt the player in the game, thn his ratings are recalculated, therefore they will drop, since in the roster patches, the ratings are decreased to make game play more realistic

Adding to that, it's mainly a problem with roster updates that have been globally tweaked using the Toolkit's Mega Modifier function (such as the tweaked version of the NLSC rosters).
