Australian Live 2004 News

Just ordered both the PC and PS2 versions from my local Electronic Boutique store today. The PS2 version (and I'm assuming all console versions) are supposed to hit Australian shelves October 5th, while the PC version should be out October 7th. Obviously if those dates are correct it's great news, as we usually have to wait two or three weeks after the North American release.

This is actually great news for all the Australian Live players. Just pray that the game dosen't get delayed or else it would be another long and dreadful wait....

Sounds fantastic, but i wont get my hopes up as by OCT 5th, I'm sure they meant to say NOV 5th. Same thing happens every year, damn delays!

I was very surprised when the guy told me, but he sounded pretty sure when he read out October 5th and October 7th. Right now, I'm going by those dates (though they are of course subject to delay).

what about the release date in new zealand. thanks

Probably around the same time as Australia.

Bad news guys. The latest release date for North America is October 7th for all platforms, so we definitely won't be getting the game as early as October 5th. Knowing the delays we usually encounter, I wouldn't be surprised if it's November before we get it here. :cry:

I highly doubt it. There will almost certainly be a delay, though I'm hoping it will only be a week or two.

The game is $99.95 according to the playstation website, and there is a point to pre-order it, coz you know you are getting the game, and one of the first people in the country to get it.

EB always releases games at a later date to the actual release date. Look what happened to Madden 2k4. It's apparent release date was August 15th or something like that, but didnt appear on their shelves til early September.

I have no doubt that NBA live 2k4 will be no different. That's why I ordered mine from Games Market. They actually ship it to you on the day they say it'll be released. Not to mention, shipping is FREE when pre-orders are made.

It's not available here yet. Anytime after October 31st seems a safe bet.
