Small things

Postby MJ_realm on Sun Jun 29, 2003 12:11 am

Don't know if this already been discussed but I just want to say this.. I like what EA has been doing for the graphics. It's really now on a new level with all these new authentic arenas,, cameras behind the board?,, etc. But I would like to say that they should not forget the small little things that makes it more realistic. Graphics can be patch. I just played MAdden just last month and was very happy with the way the game was made. I said to myself, "if only live has these....". Well, what I want is more realism in injuries etc. In madden, they even had an injury report in time someone gets hurt. A voice of girl (don't know who she is>>) will eventually say/report somethin about the injury, the doctor's comments and how long will it last. And then there's coach changes in franchise if you want to fire your current coach. I hope this will be added soon... It is still very early though...

Peace.

Madden is definetly ahead of the Live in many aspects, but my beef with Madden is that they don't let 3rd party patchmakers patch the game. The patching ability is very limited in the Madden series.

I have a feeling Live 2004 will have a deeper franchise, shooot--I'd be happy with "trading draft picks" feature.

I agree that it is the small things that make the game, since the dedicated gamer will always notice the fine details as well as the more flashy features that sell the game.

I don't know about youe but for some reason I like NBA Live's gameplay better. I agree that NBA 2K3's franchise mode is better but it is nearly impossible to run a fastbreak.

But of course in Live it's automatic. 3 passes and a layup.
