Man the graphics is close to the real thing. The shoes, the legs of Ming and his cyberface is great. T-mac cyberface is also good.

I dunno about that last pic..but in the second one..T-mac's face looks exactly like it does in real life. From that angle that is.

Also, dont be fooled guys..those are the normal pre-rendered promotional screens that EA does every year. The resolution of the textures are way too high for what ps2 can support, there is 0 clipping and high res shadows everywhere...but it does use EA's engine. In other words, it wont look that good either on pc and especially not ps2.

i hope they make it real good and i can feel like i am a gm.(like i do in madden 2003 but i hated football but it is franchise is so good that it made me a football fan :D )

Are you guys kidding me???? It looks a lot like Kerry Kittle, but for T-Mac it's terrible.

Bummer! T-Mac vertical is way off in the first pic.
Hope this doesn't mean the arcade-like-dunking-hops-blocking! :x

Yeah, T-Mac's head does seem to be far above the rim.

What i meant is that there was some improvement in his cyberface but i agree it still not as close to the real thing. I'm a PS2 user i don't have the benefit of patches so i can say there's an upgrade from the default face i see in live'03.

I think MJ was agreeing with you, stating that you can tell T-Mac can jump too high by the way his head is too far above the rim.

That first pic is propably doctored... The actual players (dunking/blocking) would seem to be extremely close to the rim don't they?

And then take a look at the shadows! The shadows show that they are miles from the hoop.

Just a funny thing I noticed while looking at them

It could be partly due to the camera angle. It's probably supposed to be an indication of the detail of the cyberfaces and body shapes, as well as the detail of the textures and the new stadiums.

ming cyberface (Y), Tmac (N). About the shoes, the previews last year also show iverson and nash wearing custom shoes but when the game came out, they still wear the generic shoes. It's good to see tmac with his custom band, same for yao ming but his band is wrongly placed.

I saw this screen shot from IGN (this artical:http://cube.ign.com/articles/401/401363p1.html)

It's for Gamecube

Image

Doesn't the ball look too small?

This is another screen shot.

I would show you the others, but I'm not an insider, so I reached the daily media limit.
