National Teams

National Teams: Argentina, Yugoslavia, USA, Spain, etc like in the NHL videogames I remeber they had National Teams like USA, Canada, Russia

FIBA Rules: Zone Defence, 5 Fouls Out, Sweep the ball when its bouncing on the rim and the paint an the 3 point line are differents

this is a great idea... it'd also be great if every 4 years during a franchise the olympics were held and the star players get picked and you can play the US team...

sorta like in Championship manger (soccer)

It's a nice idea, but it kind of doesn't tie in with the fact it's meant to be a simulation of the National Basketball Association. Still, I wonder how successful/popular this feature would be if it came as an expansion pack, similar to the Age of Empires/Empire Earth expansion packs.

There is again one huge problem in this one... EA would have to get licences from around the globe. And that will never happen. In their NHL games there were some random guys filling in the international squads if there weren't enough NHL players. Finland had extremely crappy goal tenders in the game back then.

I can pretty much say for a fact that this will not be in the game for many years to come as the NBA has so few players playing and most of them are from the states.

And think of this lineup: Shaq, Duncan, Garnett, Kobe and T-Mac against guy x and guy y from brazil. The USA would kick anyones ass in a heart beat. Without the real rosters that is. And EA will not go around the globe asking for them. Maybe if they got a ready list for free then they could add them, but not without...

Again nice, but pretty "hard" to implement.

i don't like the idea,because it's NBA live ,and there are better thigs to improve than that....

i would like to see national/euorpean teams game though

don't wait for EA Sports to make such a big effort.

You'd better go back to Live 2000 and play with the National Teams Patch made by Dirtdog1-David. And at least, you'd get a real gameplay
