Disabling CutScenes and Realistic 3 Pointers

Postby Full Surface on Mon Mar 31, 2003 7:38 am

First off, I'd just like to say that watching those cutscenes over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over is a real pain don't ya think? How about implementing an option where you can choose to turn off cutscenes? That would be helpful for those of us who get bored of them and also for people who have slow computers.

Second, we definitely need some realistic 3 point shots. On Live 2003, the computers still counts my shot a 3 pointer even though I step on the line. It's not that I don't like it but it seems too much like arcade games. :x

How about you just click pass and it gets skipped. That's good enough for me.

Hey, how about getting the things we actually deserve for the money we paid?

Although I'm used to skipping the cutscenes by pressing pass, I too would like an option to turn them off completely rather than having them set to a minimum. It's not that I totally hate the idea of cutscenes, but sometimes you just want to play without interruption.

Simple enough to skip, but turning them off completely would be more convenient. :)

Finally someone that agrees with me... They should fix the game so that it works properly and "what the hell about cutscenes" they are fine as they are. If you machine can't run them well, go buy a new cpu, cause your machine is ancient. Or you have poor grapichs processing unit.

EA will always make the prettier and prettier, though I for one am quite happy with the looks of the game, but the game mechanics need the work.

We pay for a game that works, not just for a game that looks pretty...

Wish they could bring back the original NBA Live team... Now that's a wish!

That's not the point. The point is that they're just plain annoying to have to skip them everytime. It has nothing to do with whether or not people can run them "well" or not, because honestly it doesn't take much to do so.
