Changing the controls...

This may be stupid, but hopefully something can be done.
I've been playing NBAL2004 for a long time on PS2 but recently got the PC version so it was easier to update rosters and such (and I have a USB adapter to plug a PS2 controller to my computer).
However, when I played on PS2, I was able to change the controls so that there is only 1 button that shoots, dunks, and does layups. As far as I can tell, that option is not available on the PC version so I am stuck with using 2 different buttons for the shoot and dunk/layup. It's just throwing off my groove.

Does anyone know how to change it so I can combine them all into 1 button?

i'm about 99.9% there's no way to do that in the PC version. i STILL hate that about this version of the game, but rest assured that the human groove is very resilient and CAN be re-trained.
