mvp/pom

Postby gilbertarenas on Tue Mar 07, 2006 5:57 am

hi, i was wondering what the requirement is to become player of the month or mvp. it seems its not the numbers. what is it then that determines who becomes player of the month or mvp?

I'm afraid that the POM is based on totals and that sucks big time. I'm playing 29 game seasons and usually the POM has 8-10 games in that month while other guys are putting up much better averages in 4-5 games. Same goes for the MVP Candidates, that's why sometimes there's even two from the same team in the beginning of the season. Don't know about the final MVP, I assume it depends a bit on the teams record and playoff success aswell.

Edit: I realized that you're asking about '04 and I'm talking about '06. Doesn't matter, I think that the system is the same anyway.
Give respect, get respect.

I've never once gotten player of the month. I hate that.

it's one of the various gripes of this game: your players never win the player of the month award...
