Thanks for the aknowledgement, alexboom. (Y) However, I'm unable to download the patch. When I click the download button, I get a "Page not found." message. Do you know what's wrong?

Yep, the link was unavailable for the first 24h, I didn't checked it when I uploaded the file. Andrew corrected it and now everything's fine.

Some suggestions for the next patch:

Grant Hill:
-He's playing 34 mpg, which deserves a big boost in stamina.
-So far he hasn't suffered a major injury since his comeback, so increase his hardiness as well (although it still shouldn't be very high).
-Since his comeback, Hill has reinvented his game as a jump shooter. He's averaging over 50% from the field, and most of his FGAs are mid range jumpshots. Increase his FG rating.
-Grant Hill isn't rebounding nearly as well as he used to (only about 3 drpg). Give him a big decrease in defensive rebounding (currently in the 80s).

Dwyane Wade:
-Wad has an extremely high inside scoring rating of 70. I know he's averaging about 50% from the field, but this rating seems way too high to me. The average inside scoring rating for top tier SG/SFs is in the mid-low 60s, while top tier PGs have ratings in the 50s. Kobe, who has a great post up game, only has a 62. I don't think Wade should have such a high rating when he's not really a post up player.
-I know I asked for increases for to his block rating, but I think you increased it too much. Wade is still averaging about 1 bpg, but his blocking has gone down since the beginning of the season. A block rating in the 50s seems too high to me. I think a block rating a 45 (which translates into about 1 bpg) would be better.

Lebron James:
-Same inside scoring problem as Wade, except Lebron's currently rated even higher at 76.
-Lebron is currently #2 in the league in spg. He deserves a big boost in his steal rating.

Kobe Bryant:
-Same block problem as Wade. Reduce his rating to about 45.

Tracy McGrady:
-His bpg has gone down even further, into the point 8's. Reduce his rating to the 30s or 40s.

Larry Hughes:
-He's currently #1 in the leage in spg. Give him a big boost in steal rating.

Luke Ridnour:
-He's a talented playmaker (currently #12 in apg) who is given a lot of freedom to run the Sonics offense. I think he deserves a boost in his dribbling and passing ratings, so that both are at least in the high 70s.

Kenyon Martin:
-He currently has a block rating of 71, but is only averaging 1 bpg. I think his original rating in the 50s would be more appropriate.
-He wears a headband.

Lakers Salaries:
-You left out a 0 at the end of Lamar Odom and Caron Butler's salaries, making them 10 times smaller than they should be.

thanks for the comment, i'll apply most of them... but i'm a bit sceptical about the 45 rating in block that would translate into a 1 block per game ... especially for point guards ... I'll make some tests :)

I took a look at some of the top rookies, and compared their ratings and real life stats to other players in the game (on a per 48 minutes basis). Here are a few suggestions:

Emeka Okafor:
-Give him a slight raise of a couple points for Inside Scoring. He's averaging about 15 ppg.
-Give him a big boost in both Offensive and Defensive Rebounding. He's among the league leaders in both, and is the #1 offensive rebounder in the league.
-He's averaging about 0.88 spg. Based on a comparison with other PFs with similar spg, I think he should have a rating in the high 40s or low 50s.
-Even though his scoring is still modest, he's the closest thing to a 1st option on his team. Increase his Primacy. After comparing him to other players with a similar number of FGAs so far, I think he should at least have a rating in the high 60s.

Dwight Howard:
-Give him a big boost in Offensive Rebounding, he's one of the league leaders right now (and in only about 31.8 mpg too).
-He's averaging about 1.62 bpg, but only has a Block rating of 50. Give him a big boost (70s-80s).
-Like Emeka, he's averaging over 0.8 spg. I think he deserves a Steal rating of about 50.
-His primacy is currently way too high. He's only the 4th or 5th option on his team. Players with a similar low number of FGAs per game have Primacy ratings around 50.

Ben Gordon (Bulls):
-Lower his Stamina. He's averaging only 22.5 mpg.
-Right now, he's shooting extremely well from behind the 3pt arc. He's making over 1.4 3pt shots per game at a 0.428 clip. Give him a big boost in 3pt rating.
-He's averaging about 84% from the FT line.
-His 2.2 drpg deserves a higher Defensive Rebounding rating. I think it shoulod be around the low 50s.
-So far, Gordon's apg has been extremely low. He's only averaging about 1.8 apg. I think he only deserves a 40 rating.

Chris Duhon (Bulls):
-He's averaging about 33% from behind the 3pt arc, although he makes less than 1 3pt shot per game. I think he deserves a boost in 3pt rating.
-His average of only 0.2 orpg deserves a big decrease in Offensive Rebounding. Other guards in the game with a similarly low orpg per 48 minutes have a rating of less than 10.
-His 4.8 apg is extremely high given his limited minutes. He deserves a Pass rating at least in the low 80s.
-His spg of 0.95 is also very high for his mpg. He deserves a rating around 78.

Also don't forget about these new coaches:
-George Karl (Nuggets)
-Frank Hamblen (Lakers)
-Herb Williams (Knicks)

I noticed that there were several players who are now starting for their teams, or getting a lot more minutes, who barely played at all last season. Because of their lack of playing time, these guys have such poor ratings that they're almost useless in game. The following players all deserve major, or at least moderate overall upgrades in their ratings (be sure to give them big boosts in stamina, so they can play more than a few mpg. I'll point out the stats that I think are a lot better than their current ratings in those areas:

BUCKS
-Maurice Williams
In 26.8 mpg, he's averaging 9.3 ppg on 0.431 FG%, 0.4 3PT% (although he's only taken a small number of shots), a terrific 5.9 apg, and 0.84 spg. Also increase the his extremely low speed, quickness, and dribbling ratings.

CLIPPERS
-Rick Brunson
Not scoring well, but he's averaging 0.384 3PT% (although he's making <1 3PT shot per game), 0.756 FT%, and terrific 5.2 apg in only 24.3 mpg.

-Bobby Simmons
He deserves a HUGE upgrade. In 38 mpg, he's averaging 16.2 ppg on 0.477 FG%, 0.392 3PT% (again, only a small number of attempts), 0.866 FT%, 2 orpg, 4.6 drpg, and 1.38 spg. Although I haven't seen him play, his speed, quickness, and dribbling seem pretty low.

-Chris Wilcox
In only 22.8 mpg, he's averaging 9.8 ppg on 0.522 FG%, 0.612 FT%, 1.5 orpg, 3.5 drpg, and 0.53 spg.

RAPTORS
-Loren Woods
In only 16.9 mpg, he's averaging 0.588 FT% (deserves a big decrease to his current rating of 78), 1.9 orpg, 3.4 drpg, and 0.89 bpg. He can also play so PF, and from what I've heard, he's got good speed for his size. Increase his speed and quickness (both currently in the 30s).

SPURS
-Manu Ginobili
He's not just breaking out, but I thought I'd throw him in here because he deserves a big increase to his 3PT rating. He's currently making more than 1.4 3PT shots per game, on 0.393 3PT%. That deserves a lot better than his current rating of 68.

As you've probably heard, the new All-Star rosters were announced a couple days ago. Remember to adjust the staminas for all the players on the All-Star team, so that nobody plays too much minutes (the current All-Star teams would be a good guide). It would be amazing if you could make the new jerseys and court as well, although that's secondary to the rosters and I don't expect you to have to do it.

JimRaynor will become the roster editor so I can focus on Live 2000, I assume he's currently working on the roster update now :)

I'll try to have the next roster patch done within the next 2 weeks. I've already edited dozens of players, and have made a list of about 30 more to edit. I'm using the NBA Live 2005 text roster Andrew released as a guide for a lot of obscure players I don't get to see, and for ratings that don't show up in stats like Dribbling, Jumping, Speed, and Quickness. However, I'm also making a lot of my own changes based on NBA.com's per 48 minute stats, and 82games.com's more in depth stats (like how well a player shoots at mid range). I'm also going to make the new All-Star rosters, as well as edit the ratings of legendary players (MJ currently has really bad rebounding, for example). The next 2004 roster won't just be a mere duplicate of the current 2005 patch.
