very very urgent question!!!

I am puzzled now that I can open any install.bat or viv install.bat(such files like this)including in the players' patches and court patch. When I double click that file, there is no reaction. But one day ago, it was still OK!
Maybe I misdelete some dll files that make the MS-DOS files don't work, Could someone help me and tell me why? Thank you!
