DBF Editing: Copying Individuals From 1 DBF File to Another

Postby TimX5 on Tue Aug 03, 2004 12:20 am

I am an avid fan of the NBA, so I keep my rosters up to date on my own.... but I have a small problem (mainly slackness) that because of the draft I haven't created all the rookies, that said, when the August roster update patch was released, I downloaded it. It features players that I do not have in my normal rosters, I want them, but I want a fast way to get them. My query is; Is there a way to copying custom selected or individual players from one DBF file to another by copy and pasting or any other means?

Can anyone help me?

I attempting copying the whole of the new roster patch onto my normal rosters in hope that it wouldn't destroy player patch's I had, I successfully did that, but it scrambled the game and there were only 3 players on teams, etc.

Anyway again, Is there a way to copying custom selected or individual players from one DBF file to another by copy and pasting or any other means?

Thankyou

P.S. - I will need a tutorial probably

Yes it's possible. What dbf editor do you use?
