The simplest way is to give it to your big and then kick and rotate. But because defense scheming is terrible in Live, it becomes as cheap as pro-hopping all day long.
The main tip I have is play to your player's strength. You had Rip, right? Did you do off-ball switches and have him run around the court like crazy, like he does in real life? Because in order to emulate real life, that's what I did. It worked very well, the "picks" he runs are just his own teammates, even though they don't set a pick, the impact detection is pretty lousy too, so it works. Crawford is the type of guard you can take off the dribble or shoot the ball, as he's quicker than most guards and has a nice shot. Take it to the rack, stop and pop, etc.
Now you have Billups...call a lot of pick and rolls. Take it to the rack hard and get to the line (he's a great FT shooter). If not, take the 3 off the pick and roll. The key with Billups is to run the pick and roll or post him against smaller guys. You're probably thinking, what about driving? Well, Billups gets a lot of his drives off the pick, since that's the bread and butter of the Piston offense to start with. It's easier with Billups than Rip though, because Billups can hit the 3. The 2 loves to stand on the 3 point line, so try to get both Parker and Billups on the same wing. Drive with Parker, either using his speed/quickness or a pick. He'll get past both men, and if Billups is in the corner, his man will help out. Dish to Billups and he'll nail the 3.
