Use the values listed in the DBF Editing Guides in the NBA Live 2004 section as a reference.

1. Change the players' TEAM values. Basically, you just have to swap them around.
2. Make sure no player has the same ROSTERPOS value, or problems will occur.

(Wild) Example: Trading Shaq to Atlanta for Jason Terry

1. Switch their TEAM values (Change Shaq's to 0, change's Terry's to 11)
2. Readjust ROSTERPOS values.
- Shaq's will be 0, which will be the same as the Hawks' starting centre. You must make sure that Shaq is the only player on the Hawks (TEAM 0) with a ROSTERPOS of 0.
- Terry's value will be 4 (starting point guard). Since the Lakers already have someone in this position, you must either place Terry on the bench or move Payton (or whomever the starting PG is) to the bench.
3. Make sure there are no identical ROSTERPOS values.
- When you move Shaq from the Lakers, there will be no starting centre. You must move someone else to ROSTERPOS 0 on the Lakers. The same goes for the starting point guard slot on the Hawks.

Hope this helps, remember to make a backup before you tinker with your Dynasty's dbf files. Good luck. :)

You're welcome. :) It's pretty straightforward, basically you just need to remember to double-check the ROSTERPOS values.

That would have been an easier example, but it wouldn't explain about the problems that arise if players on the same team share the same ROSTERPOS value. :)
