player stats in the second year

Postby ryan_giggs1986 on Wed Jul 07, 2004 4:22 am

how come the players' stats in the second year become very inaccurate; for instance, iverson's scoring averages drops down to 13 while marcus camby's rises to 20? Does anybody else also have this problem. And is there a patch that can fix it? Thanks

It's a problem with the simulation engine. Sometimes you can overcome the problem by editing the Primacy ratings at the start of the second season.

I have found that you have to go and re-edit the ratings for each player every year.
Its odd, because while primacy drops, the players (like Tmac, and Iverson for example) become much better overall.

Seems to me, the computer does a weak job of creating freethrow stats. When you notice a player has a much lower PPG in the second season, check how many freethrows he attempted, and i bet it will be much lower.
