Anyone help on 2004 ROOKIE PATCH by King James

I downloaded King James 2004 patch from the "announcements" forum and I got a bunch of VIV files with the players xplayer names eg. dwhowar. the readme file is in jibberish that I cant read anyway. so I went ahead and did the pkg, iscreated stuff and put the VIV file into a folder in xplayer and I got blank faces, how do I make these work?

first make sure u put the viv files are in the right place(imported into players.viv) and make sure that your dbf fields are all correct(THE 4 IS fields True,False,False,False) and your id7 and playerpkg are abbreviated properly in all caps. if all those check out then there should be no problem

I don't understand, ok, here's what I have done.....

I downloaded the VIV files in the two folders. I had players created on game, I created their folders in xplayer folder. I placed the VIV's in their folders, did the correct DBF editing, and double checked, placed the portraits in the prtteam folder. Then loaded the game and loaded the correct roster file. I get black heads. I will say i couldn't read the readme file. What aren't I doing, I've never done portraits before.

i know what u did wrong, u must import the viv files into xplayer.viv, u dont put them in folders, u put them in the file, trust me, alot of ppl are making this mistake

how u import them is with eagrapgh, just open up xplayer.viv with eagraph, goto tools-import wizard-add files-add...-(add all the viv files that u downloaded)-next, and thats it

u did right with the portraits and dbf
