nba live 2004 pc using ps2 controller via usb question

if anyone out there has the adapter from radio shack that allows you to use the ps2 controller via usb for nba live 2004 and has it hooked up and working correctly, i would be eternally grateful if you would post exactly how to do it, i love the game but am going crazy trying to get the ps2 controller to work. please someone help me.

mine works fine... i just installed the software they packaged with it and then plugged it in to the USB port, then plugged the PS2 control in.. works perfectly fine.. what exactly is the problem? is it not recognizing the software? have you tried plugging the converter into another USB port? if these don't fix it, be a little more specific..

i got it to work, it recognizes it as a usb joystick, in nba live 2004 i had to pick logitech as that was the only one that would let me configure the controller, i did that successfully except for the ability to intentional foul. thanx for responding, if u have any ideas on the intentional foul i would appreciate it.
