Primacy ratings are a bunch of crap

I have rick brunson with a primacy rating of 22...but this man will still not only shoot the ball every time he touches it, but iso and shoot 3's with guys right in his face

I have shaq with a 90 primacy rating...and if he shoots the ball 7 times a game...that's a lot. Man, and it's not even him shooting, he doesn't even GET the ball...

this goes for basically all big men...I thought they would fix this in 2004, but playing against teams with dominant big men is absolutely no fun because THEY NEVER GET THE BALL regardless of their primacy rating in relation to the rest of the players

but ANY pg, regardless of their rating or spot on the bench will come in and put up shots like he's steve francis

Interestingly enough, with players at the small forward position, the primacy ratings seem to work like mint...any other position they seem to be worthless

any way to get around this?

and will all point guards just shoot 3's regardless of their scoring area number??

Sam cassell does not shoot 15 3's in a game, give me a fucking break

the guy is a midrange guy, I gave him a 9 for scoring area like big dog (kg has 9...so does a guy like kandiman)

and cassell's still jacking up 3's with guys right in his face for no apparent reason....I could lower his primacy rating to 0 and he'll still do this

I feel u. But yeah, I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE how PGs run the game. When I play big time big men, some of them ball, but sometimes they will play sorry while their 52 rated PG will shit on me.

I played N.O. in the finals usin the lakers, and i high pressured and double teamed baron davis, switchin from half court trap and full court press...he still put up 18, which is low for him because usually he'd get like 35 but still, he shoulda had like 10.

it's not even an issue of holding the pg to a bad game

it's just the fact that they'll do everything in their power to take bad shots, regardless of their rating and regardless of who is on their team

guys that aren't even that good at 3's will just jack crap up with you on their face regardless if there's other good players on the court

I've had some pg's had 3 point attempts in the 20's

that's ridiculous

I have sliders, ratings and plays all adjusted....nothing helps, this is crap

I guess everybody has pretty much accepted the fact that this game will never be a good basketball simulation and ea continues to make the same mistakes and come up with new ones every single year...and they never end up fixing anything...and if they do, it only resuls in more crap that's wrong
