Why does the CPU teams shoot so many three pointers?

Postby ludacris06 on Mon Feb 09, 2004 4:43 am

Is there a way to lower the CPU's attempts from three point and in the paint so much? The game feels like the midrange area is completely ignored. NBA Live 2004 is the best game around, ( just in the gameplay department) just every team plays like Dallas. There is no personality even when i change the playbooks. I need some help here...

Maybe changing personalities editing scoreabilities with a DBF editor...but I'm not sure.

they just can't stop themselves, they are all like Baron Davis, and when you play against the Baron he takes about 18 three's a game lol

If you're on them and have your hands up they'll be less likely to, but if you give them the open three they'll always take it. The problem is that if you give them an open mid range jumper they'll drive

I think Inside Drive was said to be the only bball game where the AI plays a mid range game very frequently.

Yea, Inside drive is the only game that uses the midrange game. Whats the purpose of having players like Richard Hamilton if the mid range game is ignored? NBA Live '05 should have this fixed.
