hmm.. :? wht shooting slider settings would u set with this rating system? cos with ben's sliders, someone with 75-80 would make around 45% - 50% 2pt fgs

Do you have a formula for other ratings? Seems this formula isn't too bad only some special players should not be rated this way!

Let's consider some of the higher rated non-big men. Cassel is at .496. So, by your system:

496 * 2 - 50 = 992 - 50 = 942

Don't tell me Cassel is not a "star player", as he averages over 20ppg, so his FG rating by your system is in fact 94.

Sorry I don't buy it. You've based your claim on imagined accuracy for one player, so I feel fine in killing it with one player. Really, though, how did you come up with your system?
