Trade or not trade

Postby Chris Ma on Thu Jan 29, 2004 7:29 pm

I am doing pretty well in my knicks franchise, with penny hardaway being the top scorer off the bench and starbury also scores consistently and average around 17 pts a game.......but one problem is that, he's not that tall, one game when the knicks vs cavaliers, starbury was totally beaten by lebron, i had to move penny hardaway to guard against lebron, so do u guys think that i should trade marbury for other taller PG like lebron?

There aren't a whole lot of good tall pg's out there that you can trade marbury for. trade him for a pf and change penny to a point guard.

everyone has his majors, i bet marbury can dish ten times better than lebron, and i think marbury inst a player to make jump shots, try to get open shots for 3 or just go inside for lay ups and petrations unsig power dribble button, i wouldnt trade starbury for lebron..

yup............very interesting!!!
one game when knicks vs 76ers, i found out that eric snow didn't have a backup and played 90% of the game, so i realised that phila might need another PG, so i would like to give marbury to them......looking at their squad, the only guy i wanted is iverson, so i gave it a try and wowow, the trade was accepted!!!!

That's amazing...first time I've heard of the CPU giving up a better player in a user initiated trade. Congrats! (Y)

i've tried that a few times, right after i got iverson i saved the game and tried to trade for other big name players......i got vince carter, but couldn't get T-mac and KG

if the computer team has great interest in any of your players, you would have a better chance to get a higher rating player from them straight away.....that's all i observed, hope it might help u guys! :D

iverson is great btw, he played 5 games for my NY knicks and got 3 triple-doubles!!!!

The interest meter is indeed a great addition, and can be used to get rid of lower rated players by trading them to depleted and desperate teams. But the CPU is still fond of getting players of equal or higher value, though it will sometimes offer a player of higher value who is likely to decline at the end of the season.
