There are fewer trades this year (not necessarily a bad thing), but I have seen CPU teams trade players amongst themselves and offer players to me in NBA Live 2004. But it is much less frequent compared to previous Lives.

Is there any way to make trades more frequent? Any global sliders for that kind of stuff?

CPU almost always trades amongst themselves. Plus they also trade bench players, no big-time trades. They sometimes offer me a trade but it only involves bench players. The best CPU trade i've seen is Allan Houston for Andrei Kirilenko. This happened in my 1st year in Dynasty mode.

No, gameplay is the only aspect of the game that is adjustable using sliders.

ak-47 can play the 3. plus, after the marbury-lampe/vujanic/2 picks trade, they knicks definitely need another big man.
