NLCS (NBA LIVE CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS) For Patch Makers

Postby arden_05 on Tue Dec 23, 2003 9:46 am

What's up patchmakers and downloaders, I have come up with an interesting concept. I call it the NLCS championship standing system. This system is basically a spin-off of the BCS (American College Football) in which patchers will have rankings i.e. 1 through 15 to let "The Community" know who are the best Nba Live 2004 patchers in the world, and ultimately determine who among these talented patchers will be known as "The One" or the #1 patcher on the planet...is it you......

***Make your lists from 1 to 15 and submit to this thread, before submitting PLEASE READ[/b[b]]...Your rankings should not be based on favoritism. Rankings should be based on QUALITY (self explanatory), QUANTITY (self explanatory), and FREQUENCY (how often patches are released). All rankings submitted will be counted, meaning all votes for each individual patcher, at every number they are voted in will be counted. Example: If Tony gets voted #1 on my list, #1 on another lists, #2, then #3 he has more #1 votes than any other number making him #1 overall (Assume comparing to all other ranked patchers). Its simple

***Do remember this is all about recognition for the patchers who create the great patches that enhance our NBA LIVE 2004 gaming experience, everytime we boot up or PC....thanks guys you are appreciated (Y)

Post away (Give it some thought)

i'm most definately against this. it has been done in the past, and only causes trouble. ranking patchers is a bad idea, causes the lower-ranking ones to feel bad, and give up completely usually. this would make patching seem like a competition, when it's not, it's just for fun.

i'm sure most people are already aware from whom most quality comes from.

Hmm....definately something to think about you definately have some ignorant people, who will say ignorant things...and It definately may hurt the egos and confidence of some other patchers...yeah so your probably right...definately don't want to disrupt the patch game...didn't think about it like that....o well I meant well

I think it is a good thought but those of us who are new to the game and are still trying to get the hang of paching could take major offense to it. So it would be best to not do this.

IMO

No. This is not a good idea.

Tony hit it right on the nose.

It is for those reasons that this is not a good idea. This topic should be locked immediately.

BCS- I think he was referring to what was written in the original post. (Bowl Champ series)
............ But he is right; this will only escalate into pop shots and shit talking, not to mention patchers quitting.

Edit: Dragon- Where can all that stuff be found? Is it availible for Live 2004?
