Offers From Other Teams

A question for those who have received offers from other teams to manage them. How often does this happen? Does it occur after you've had a good season or seasons or does it just seem to be random? Do only crappy teams give you offers?

It mainly happens if you other teams have a lot of interest in your players. If you are rebuilding and have a fairly poor team, you usually don't get a lot of offers.

In my dynasty before I even played my first game, the Magic offered T-Mac for Kevin Garnett. I accepted it because I think T-Mac can do more for my team than KG could of.

I'm talking about them offering you control of their team in dynasty mode. I've done a bunch of simming and havent had it happen yet even with petty good records.

Sorry, I mis-read your post. I haven't figured out the conditions that makes the game offer you control of a different team. At first it appears random, but I'm pretty sure there are certain conditions eg. consistent success after building/rebuilding, a struggling CPU team, etc.

after i made a 3-peat, and every year after that i won the championship, the top 3 lottery teams alway offered their teams to me. i won the coach of the year for four years straight during that streak as well.
