Trading Draft picks

Hi guys can you please help me out. I am in a dynasty with the knicks and i cant find the right time to trade for picks etc!
I have tried during the season, the last chance during the season it never works and then during the off season.
I must be missing something. PLEASE HELP!!!

Generally teams won't trade draft picks unless they are interested in trades involving picks, or you offer a player they are very interested in.

Look at the interest bar for your players to see who the other team is interested in acquiring. If the bar is almost full, you stand a very good chance of getting them to agree to a deal.

Also observe the interest bar for draft picks. If the other team has interest in your picks, it usually means they're open to deals involving their own picks.
