How to walk with players

I remember in previous versions of live, you could make your player walk with the ball. Someone did it to me the other day online and was able to do some cool behind the back dribbles with it. Anyone know the scoop? I am using the logitech dual action joypad.

Use the left analog.
The point of it being analog is so that you can control how much force you wish to apply to the stick thus making a player move either faster or slower. Putting little pressure in the direction you want to move should make the player walk rather than run.

When I used to play with the keyboard, I noticed that if you ran into a player and pressed crossover at the same time, the player would automatically do a walking-behind-the-back-cross.

Just my observation, though.
