25 Created players

On m Gamecube... You can only create 25 players, but in the manual it says that you can create 50. Is this only on the cube, or can you only save 25 characters on the other consoles aswell?

I believe 25 is the standard for all three console versions. Perhaps that part of the manual was not updated.
