There doesn't appear to be a Free Agent Problem with Live PC

There isn't an issue with free agents on the PC version far as I can tell. I've been using my version 4 rosters with NBA Salaries and NBA Salary Cap and all the big free agents usually get signed back to there original team.

I think people saw it on the console versions and automatically assumed it would be in the PC version. Doesn't seem to be the case.

What are you guys thoughts on this?

Lotto, I downloaded your updated rosters and salary fixtures, and while it has cut down on the ignored FAs, there still seem to be players that fall through the cracks. I simmed several seasons just to see how it would be, and some big names go unsigned sometimes, even if a team has that huge amount of cap room. For example, Antonie Walker didn't sign with anyone despite the fact that half the teams were way under the cap with your salary fixtures.

If that is the case, then I'm hoping EA will patch the game. However, since I only see like 30 people playing NBA Live 2004 on EASO at anytime, I don't think they made enough money off the PC version to justify making it.

Rasheed Wallace, and Antoine Walker are always a FA and go unsigned the next year

I was using your rosters, but I had to edit the salary.ini so i could sign and trade these players. I couldn't allow them to spend their careers on the FA list.

There are also players who this happens to later on in dynasty, I've seen T Mac, Shaq, and Marion that I can name off the top of my head.

The thing players just won't go anywhere on the game there are some teams they just won't go to. That why you see these players out there because say Atlanta has the cap room who really wants to go and waste thier career playing for the Hawks.

Good point but I still think EA needs to patch the game. I just don't think they will as this has been a problem for some years now.

Don't hold your breath, guys. This series has never been patches as far as I can recall, and there have been more glaring bugs than the ones we've seen this year (or we've seen the same ones year after year). What we get is a completed project, whether it is truly complete or not.

there was a small patch for 2003,
for some issues with the usb controllers..
