I can't use the keyboard and gamepad at the same time!!

Hi!

I always use keyboards buttons to define quickplays and playcalling, but i play with a gamepad. In Nba live 2004, i defined the playcalling and the quickplays on F1, F2, F3, etc, but when i'm playing and press this buttons nothing happens. Please help me if you can, because is really frustrating to give up another button of my gamepad (it's a maxfire, 8 buttons only)

Try leaving quickplays blank and set one button on the gamepad to playcalling, hold this button down in-game and a list of plays will come up, while still holding down playcall click the other button then release. Click playcall once on offense to call a timeout, or once on defense to call for intentional foul.
