Hey everyone. Thanks to ThunderShaq and crew's extensive work on historic rosters for 2K20, I haven't felt the need to upgrade to a newer 2K (yet), but I think this post is relevant to 2K25 as well. My passion project has been fine tuning the 06-07 rosters and I've been able to get everything right... except for the shoes. While there's a few models from that era in game, I started wondering if it would be possible to mod era appropriate shoes from the 360/PS3 versions of NBA Live into 2K. Now you're probably asking "why Live instead of 2K?" If there's anything those Live games did extremely well, it was the shoes. Each shoe had its own 3d model and while there could be a lack of colorways, I think overall they looked fantastic in game. Being familiar with modding 2K, I doubt it would be possible to import the 3d model, but I wonder if the shoe textures from Live could replace a similar looking shoe's textures in 2K. That being said, I'm far from an expert and was wondering if someone with way more experience and insight could tell me how plausible (or not) this is. The textures from Live can at least be extracted, so I attached the shoe textures for the Gil Zero (which I think are in a newer 2K?) from NBA Live 09.

Feel free to tell me if I'm way out of my depth here, but any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
