Just to let you know legoa courts work in the Magic=Bird era as well. You just need to rename them properly. The same is with yours Celtics court. The problem are the rest. I am puzzled why is this.

Maybe something important to let you know. When I rename legoas floors with the names that you are using for your floors for the Magic-Bird era they all work (example: I take rockets court from legoa and copy the name of your rockets court and paste it over legoas rockets court and place it in levels it works perfectly. This goes for all his courts). My conclusion is that your floors are named correctly, something else is wrong.

indigo81, One possibility may be your video settings. I have seen issues for other files if you have lower quality settings. Most of my settings are medium or low because I keep getting the low vram warning even though my FPS are around 100. I have saved the DDS files as DXT1 no alpha channel with mipmaps. I have saved in this format since 2K20. I am puzzled too since they work for others.

I do not think that is the issue. If that is the issue it will be a problem with the Celtics court as well.

Unfortunately, I too still can't get any of these to work, with the exception of the Celtics court. Which is a real bummer, becasue they look incredible!! Pretty much all I play are the retro Eras, so these courts working would be a gamechanger for me. I've done the same thing as other users (trying to rename files, etc.), but it didn't do the trick. So very strange. Wish we could figure this out. Seems like if they work on your game they should work for the rest of us.

I have been playing at maxed out graphics settings. He has a point. Some of these mods may require a different video setting so I will try those out today and report back.

Appreciate the work Bassman. The Celtics court is crisp. But it's also the only one that works for me. The Hawks, Bulls, Cavs, Rockets are all still black for me too.

Don't know how to attach a screenshot to a post but I have the floor files in my mods/levels folder which only has the files I just mentioned in it.

I've also removed every other mod and tried just using the floor files but that still don't work

Has anyone else got these working?

2K made changes, after the February update my courts did not work for me either. The file structure changed and I can't use the method of using a single high quality DDS file for the floor. This is the method used since 2k19. The 2K floors use a logo or two and a low quality floor texture for many retro courts. I learn by using another modder's work and replacing the texture(s). I have not seen any recent free retro courts released that I could learn from. Unfortunately we are stuck with the 2K courts. Delete my courts if they don't work for you (if you have black floors). Maybe I will learn how to make high quality retro courts in the future. If anybody has a solution please send a PM.

I've read in the 2Konnect server that it might be because of an outdated export of the involved floor files? They fixed lighting/court/floor mods by using Looyh's Exporter Tool v2.1 as it also includes shared files inside the arena or floor .iff file.

I have made loads of single texture floors that work just fine.
You can use floor_allstar2021_int_floor.iff as a base as that has a full court floor and blank the floor lines files or use https://www.shuajota.com/2024/09/nba-2k ... plate.html ?
