2K25 regional release times

2K has published the release time schedule for both Early Tip-Off and standard release:
https://support.2k.com/hc/en-us/article ... unch-Times

For early tip-off PC is getting an 8 hour jump start compared to consoles, being available at 9 PM on September 3rd on US East Coast, while console players there will need to wait until 5 AM Sept 4.
This also means 5 AM and 1 PM release for BST (UK) and 2 PM and 10 PM respectively for our Australian overlord.

The standard release time is staggered for consoles as every time zone is getting released at midnight September 6th with only notable exception: US east coast getting it at 9 PM on September 5th. This is presumably to release the game at the same time for the entire USA.
PC is however getting a global release which is based on the US release time - midnight west coast and 9 PM east coast, which means that PC players in UK will need to wait for 5 AM and Australians for 4 PM on September 6.

Good looking out!

Any word on whether or not the game will pre-load on Steam? As of right now, I'm not seeing that as an option. So maybe, the early release time means that's when we can just start downloading it?

yeah i think once it's 9pm for me (my region is PST) we'll get to download and play 2k since they claim we can play early UP TO 2 days before launch and that'll leave us with 1 day and a couple hours of early access.

Mine finally showed up to download/install at 11pm US Central time. It's stinking huge! Around 130gb or so. It's almost finished downloading, but I'll only play for 10 or 15 minutes before this old man has to head to bed. :D

Pre-ordered almost at the last minute - at the buzzer, if you will - but it did allow me to pick up the disc version for PS5 from my preferred Aussie retailer this afternoon, and get and activate the Steam key from GMG. Now, finishing the download in a timely manner with my internet speed, that's another matter...
