Hi Looyh, any chance you can do an update for hook that allows us to see custom shoe image previews as when the game is running without hook. With hook it just shows the greyed out model.

you could create your own preview to replace the grey one

But I thought the previews were auto generated which is why you can see them when hook isn't running. Isn't there a way to enable or reenable this when hook is running? That would solve it for all shoes rather than having to make individual previews for each shoe

Yeah, I don't know why the hook does this. Without the hook it will auto create a preview shoe and it would be nice if this could be fixed?

Because the shoe rendering feature was added in the Season 4 update, but the Hook needs to be used with the 1.2 exe. This is not a problem caused by the Hook, but rather because this feature is not present in the Season 1 - 1.2 exe.

Im usually just putting some jerseys, scoreboards and courts. Can i use the native modding or your hook is better for that?

mckay1988, as far as I know the native folder can only be used for original 2K files. The Hook folder can be used for both original and custom files. Plus the Hook folder allows you to turn on/off mods and can have better organization.

I think it disconnects you because you are using an old exe? To play online you need to run the latest exe with no mod, unless I have misunderstood something

even when I switch the exe to the current one it won't let me connect back. I had to reinstall the game many times because of it.

Hey, I was trying to install the 2k24 hook before and I replaced the original exe with the 1.2 exe and the mods notification did not come up if I wanted to enable the mods or not. Does anyone know how to fix that

Thanks Bassman, 100 % understood. since i am enjoying the 2k24 at the moment and wanted to stick on it. I was just wishing and hoping that, Looyh may find motivation to update this tool for the last season release exe.
But as i said, its just a wish, i just love this game and the tool.

need help, when I open the current 1.2 exe it just displays no texts when I load up the game and it also freezes and crashes afterwards if I have not connected my controller, but when I do the game opens but there is still no text being displayed and when I try to interact or open with any feature it just freezes then crashes after. When I try the latest version of the exe in steam it just acts normal but no mods available. How to fix this?
